[In the time since Lumine's arrival, Aether's made a point to wish her good morning whenever he wakes up, and occasionally a good night if he doesn't pass out in bed first. Sometimes she even gets a selfie depending on just how messy his bed-head is (obviously, only sending the especially messy ones in the hopes of cracking a smile). And despite everything strange going on around Nippon right now, today is no exception.]

I'm staying with Itto in Tokyo for the next few days. I forgot how small the dorms are here. I don't think we'll both fit.

[And attached is a photo of Itto's room at the Yoshiwara dorm, which is so small, the single futon practically takes up all the floor space?? It's basically a closet.]

[Aether hadn't been alone in the good morning and/or good night texts, with Lumine being the first to reach out during the times when Aether didn't manage to. Those weren't all of course, and he got a couple of selfies the day she'd gone out to try on traditional clothes. She didn't have the money to really drop on a wardrobe yet, but it hadn't hurt to try and it had been fun.]

I don't even think the two of us would fit in such a tiny dorm, how are you managing it? Probably pretty warm with the two of you in a tiny space, too.

[She'd told him that she was staying temporarily with Diluc and Kaeya a couple days after that had been arranged, and told him about her apartments both in Kyoto and Tokyo--it seemed Itto didn't roll the best luck for space lottery there in comparison.]

We actually tried it when I stayed over once, and I just ended up squished.

But thankfully, I have a secret weapon up my sleeve!

[Lumine probably shouldn't have been surprised to see the teapot considering it seemed she and Aether had been through the same things. Still though...]

Oh you have one, too? I didn't get to bring mine with me when I was brought here. I'm glad you have somewhere more comfortable to sleep though!

I didn't have it with me when I arrived either, so yours might show up someday!

I've only been living out of it full-time recently. It's pretty convenient for traveling between Kingdoms, even if it does get a little annoying to find a safe place to put it every night. I came out once to someone trying to sell me at an antique shop.

Maybe! I'll keep an eye out for it showing up I think.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to keep it in your apartment or other housing in each Kingdom? I think I'd keep it in mine if my teapot were here, since at least I know it's a safe space for it. Don't want to come out suddenly in some stranger's home right?

Oh, I don't have any other housing, actually. It seemed like a waste to keep a place in Tokyo when I'm rarely there, and the friends I was staying with in Kyoto left Nippon.

[Hence why it's only recently that he's just taken to wandering, not wanting to stay in a lonely apartment by himself. But as looks down at what he typed, he's quick to add something else to keep her from reading between the lines.]

But I already know I can stay with Itto whenever I'm in Tokyo, and I know a few other people in Kyoto and Wakayama who wouldn't mind me coming and going, so it shouldn't be a problem anymore!

I've been staying in Kyoto mostly, but having a home they're willing to let me have in both Kingdoms has been really convenient. At least I know I have somewhere safe in either place.

[She didn't really agree with the logic necessarily of just...not having a safe place when one was so readily offered, even as someone used to traveling. She felt that until she moved into a place on her own that she paid for, she would probably keep each apartment.]

If you ever end up without a place to stay, since I won't just say this over staying with your friends, but let me know and you can stay in either of my apartments. No unsafe teapot placement okay Aether? ♥

[He has his reasons, of course. Reasons he should probably tell her about at some point, but... it wasn't something she needed to worry about right now. Or at least, that's how he saw it.]

But at least for right now, it's not an issue. This month looks like it's going to be another weird one, so I probably won't be straying far from the city.

But I think that depends on what you mean? This place is always a little weird, but this specific type of weird is new, and apparently only happens once a year.

sexual this place is, then yeah, that's pretty common.
